Notes to Self

Forget about carefree dates with hubby; about peaceful, guilt-free me-time; about reasons for smiling that do not include your baby.
Forget about sleeping through the night or through the morning; forget about uninterrupted sleep, altogether.
Forget about not having to share your food and drink; forget about unhurried, uneventful mealtimes. Forget about junk food and fast food - don't want Baby Girl eating that, do you?
Forget about a life that was about you; forget about girlish notions and over-ambitious plans and unattainable goals; life is about the daily grind now.
And you wouldn't have it any other way.
